What You Will Learn in This Professional Certification
While some hypnosis trainings focus primarily on learning inductions, scripts, and isolated techniques, this program emphasizes client assessment, session structure, and practitioner development to support meaningful client outcomes.
Students are also introduced to Barb Davies’ PRIMER™ Method, a neuroscience-informed model for guiding lasting cognitive and behavioural change in both practitioner-led and self-directed hypnosis.
Professional Foundations and Ethical Practice
Develop the professional mindset required to work responsibly with hypnosis. Topics include ethics, scope of practice, professional boundaries, and integrating hypnosis within counselling, coaching, and wellness settings.
The Science of Hypnosis and Change
Understand how focused attention, expectation, and learning processes influence behaviour and experience. Students explore both traditional perspectives on hypnosis and modern neuroscience-informed views of change.
Client Consultation and Assessment
Learn how to conduct effective consultations and intake conversations that clarify goals, identify patterns influencing behaviour, and determine whether hypnosis is an appropriate approach.

This program runs annually as a compressed five to six month program, starting in January or February. Additional programs may be scheduled to meet demand.
New in 2026 Due to demand, we're growing a wait list for practitioners who would prefer to study and become certified over one year. We will meet at least twice monthly online, including an optional Q&A and practice session. Twelve month installment plans will be available for tuition. As soon as enough students are ready, we will start the program. We're considering a June or September 2026 start.
